Longtime Standardbred industry participant Betty Delaney of Acton, Ont. passed away suddenly at home on Wednesday, June 14 at the age of 76.
Betty is the wife of Doug Delaney, with whom she helped operate popular Ontario breeding farm Delcrest Stables.
Betty is resting at the Butcher Funeral Home in Erin, Ont, with visitation set for Monday, June 19 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Funeral will be held on Tuesday, June 20 at 2:00 p.m. from Butcher Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, charitable donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
