Officials with Kawartha Downs would like to remind all horsepeople that the first qualifying session of the 2014 racing season will take place this Saturday (June 14) at 11 a.m.
The entry box will close at 10 a.m. on Thursday. To enter, call 519-482-5270. Subsequent qualifiers will be held on race nights and will begin at 4:30 p.m.
Live racing begins Saturday, June 21 with a 7 p.m. first-race post time and will continue every Saturday night through October 25 with the exception of September 20.
Training is available at the Fraserville, Ont. track every Monday and Thursday from 8 a.m. to noon. Schooling races will take place Wednesdays at 11 a.m.
