Back by popular demand, Hoosier Park Racing & Casino will once again host a cornhole tournament series as a part of Family Fun Saturdays at the track.

Sponsored by the Indiana Standardbred Association, the series will feature a social division and a competitive division. Both divisions will take place in The Yard at 7:00 p.m. on June 2, 9, 16, 30, and July 7. The grand championship will be held on Saturday, July 21.

Both professional players and beginners are invited to participate each Saturday for a chance to win free gifts, dining coupons, free wagers and more. Sign up time for both divisions is 6:00 p.m.

The social division is free to enter with a format based on the number of entries. The competitive division is offered for an entry fee of $30 per team or $15 each, and includes a free t-shirt and an $800 guaranteed prize fund. Guests must be 18 to participate in the professional games, and must participate in two weekly events to be eligible for the Grand Championship, which includes a $1,000 starting prize fund.

“The cornhole tournament series is another component to the Epic Summer of Fun we have planned at Hoosier Park,” said Hoosier Park’s Vice President of Marketing Becky Young. “Whether you’re a competitive participant, playing for fun or cheering your team on, it’s an entertaining experience for all.”

Participants will have the opportunity to enjoy a beer garden, also located in The Yard, and a variety of dining options. The cornhole tournament will be hosted in conjunction with live racing, which starts at 6:30 p.m. All American Cornhole Organization rules will apply for this event. Compete tournament details and rules are available at www.hoosierpark.com.

Hoosier Park’s Family Fun Days will return this Saturday and continue each weekend throughout the entirety of the live racing season. Activities will include face painting, live entertainment, games and winner’s circle giveaways.
