Woodstock Raceway has announced that it will be hosting a trio of late-closing three-week series entitled the Oxford County Stakes this summer
.
Each of the Oxford County Stakes series will have finals worth $25,000 (added). Preliminary leg divisions will have $10,000 purses.
There will be separate Oxford County Stakes series for male pacers, male trotters and female pacers. Each of the series are for horses that are three-years-old and up and that are non-winners of $10,000 in lifetime purse earnings as of midnight on April 1, 2009.
Nominations for the late closer series are $200.00 and are due by Friday, June 5, 2009 to Race Secretary Paul Brown.
