Consider this a friendly reminder for Yonkers Raceway horsemen, fans, simulcast partners and all the ships at sea. Yonkers is taking an early-June live racing break
, as previously scheduled and approved by the New York State Racing and Wagering Board.
After the Saturday, May 30th program, Yonkers does not race again until Saturday night, June 6. Put another way, there is no live racing Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday (June 1, 2, 4 and 5).
The regular five-program-per-week schedule (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday) resumes the week of June 8th. First post for all racing programs--including Memorial Day (May 25)--is 7:10 p.m.
Afternoon simulcasting does continue around the NYRA schedule.
