The Ontario Harness Horse Association has called two meetings for the coming weeks -- one for its District 6 members and the other for its District 3
members.
The District 6 general information meeting will be taking place Wednesday, May 20 at the Best Western Milton Inn, 161 Chisholm Drive, and will be getting underway at 7:00 p.m. The meeting has been called to discuss the current situation regarding the WEG/OHHA contract and to answer any questions the membership may have. In light of the recent resignations of two District 6 OHHA members, nominations to fill the existing vacancies will be accepted during the meeting.
The District 3 general information meeting will be taking place Wednesday, May 27 at the Rock Haven Motel and Convention Centre, 1875 Landsdowne Street West in Peterborough. The meeting will get underway at 7:00 p.m. In light of the recent resignations of two of the District 3 members, nominations to the existing vacancies on the board will be accepted during the meeting.
Members are reminded to bring their memberships cards, as membership will be verified at the door.

here are some questions.... why does the OHHA not take minutes at any f their meetings in the districts they have... Why did Walzak have 3, yes 3 credit cards? Why are they still sticking with the previous presiden they got rid of? It is a shame we got in someone who actualy cared about racing and its members, only to have him resign. All members should attend the meetings in their districts and voice their disgust at the way things have gone down....R.Males
