Standardbred Canada is issuing a Request For Proposal to host the 2015 O’Brien Awards. The RFP is being distributed to Industry Associations and Horsemen’s Groups across the country.
SC is seeking an industry partner to host the 2015 O’Brien Award Weekend in January / February, 2016. The preferred date for this event is January 29 – 31, with January 30 as the date of the O’Brien Awards.
The event includes the following components:

Thursday, Jan. 28 – Saturday, Jan. 30 – SC Board Meetings

Friday, Jan. 29 – Race Night

Saturday, Jan. 30 – SC Annual General Meeting

Saturday, Jan. 30 – Harness Racing Forum

Saturday, Jan. 30 - O’Brien Awards Black Tie Gala
Expressions of interest (letters of intent) and any questions pertaining to the proposal must be received by Wednesday, April 15. Proposals are due by April 30, 2015.
