It has been announced that both the Charlottetown Driving Park and Summerside Raceway will be holding qualifying sessions to prep for the tracks’ respective season openers.
Charlottetown is scheduled to begin its season of live harness racing on Saturday, April 28 at 6 p.m., while Summerside is scheduled to start its campaign on Monday, May 21 at 1 p.m.
The qualifying schedules for both of the tracks appear below.
Charlottetown Qualifiers
Saturday, April 21 – Post Time 1:00 p.m.
Tuesday, April 24 – Post Time 1:00 p.m.
Summerside Qualifiers
Sunday, April 22 – Post Time 1:00 p.m.

Additionally, it is important that horsepeople are aware that a Standardbred Canada field representative will be on hand to conduct business.
Standardbred Canada would like to remind all horsepeople that all memberships and eligibility fees need to be paid. Additionally, name changes need to be made before a horse ever qualifies. Coggins tests are required as set out in the rules in your racing jurisdiction.
