Standardbred Canada would like to inform members of the following BC Stakes payments that are due May 1, 2017.
BC Bred Stakes:
(To race as two and three-year-old pacing fillies, colts and geldings. Defined as a horse foaled in BC, out of a mare owned or leased by a BC resident at the time of foaling)
• BC Bred Stake #20 - Yearlings in 2017 (foals of 2016) - $50
• BC Bred Stake #19 - Two-year-olds in 2017 (foals of 2015) - $100
BC Open Stakes:
(For foals of 2016. To be raced as an Open stakes event for three-year-old pacing fillies [Penny Bath Memorial] and three-year-old colts and geldings [Keith Linton Memorial] in 2019)
• Keith Linton Memorial –Yearlings in 2017 - $10
• Penny Bath Memorial –Yearlings in 2017 - $10
Payments can be made online with a credit card or debit on the SC website.
If mailing, make cheques payable to Standardbred Canada. All envelopes must be clearly post-marked by the stake payment due date to be accepted, despite inadequacies of the postal system. Registered mail is recommended.
