Racing Under Saddle Ontario (RUS) is hosting an information session tonight (Wednesday, April 2) at Mohawk Racetrack in Campbellville.
The session is meant to encourage prospective owners, trainers, riders and sponsors to come out and learn more about Monte trotting.
The session will kick off with keynote speaker Dr. Melissa McKee, who will be speaking about the veterinary benefits to the horse, judging and equipment. The session will run from 4 - 6 p.m. RUS is hoping that all industry participants interested in racing their trotters this summer will attend.
“Racing Under Saddle Ontario is committed to supporting and preserving our active and vibrant Standardbred industry,” said Racing Under Saddle Ontario President Julie Walker. “The information session will not only provide members of the racing community with an opportunity to network with peers, but it will also give them a chance to learn about some of the exciting projects RUS Ontario is focusing on and how they can use these projects to enhance their racing operations.”
