Equine Drug Control Presentation Info.

The Canadian Pari-Mutuel Agency (CPMA) in conjunction with Horse Racing Alberta (HRA) will be hosting an information session on the Equine Drug Control Program.

Topics will include drug testing, elimination guidelines, screening levels, thresholds, environment contamination, compound medications, and much more. There will be a question and answer period after the presentation.

There will be two presentations available at Northlands Park and Century Downs Racetrack and Casino.

The presentations at Northlands Park will be held in the Sky Paddock, 2nd floor on Monday, June 5 at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.

The presentations at Century Downs Racetrack and Casino will take place in the Homestretch Room, 2nd floor on Tuesday, June 6 at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Guest speakers will be Carolyn Cooper, DVM, Director of the CPMA’s Equine Drug Control Program, CPMA and Steve Suttie, Executive Director, CPMA.

Everyone is invited to attend.
