Trot Insider has learned that Red Shores has shifted the dates for one of its previously announced qualifying sessions.

Summerside’s qualifying session was scheduled for Sunday, April 28. These qualifiers will now be conducted on Monday, April 29 at 6:00 p.m. Declarations are still due on Friday, April 26 at 12:00 noon.

Charlottetown Driving Park will be hosting a pair of qualifying sessions and the dates for these remain the same. The first will get underway at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 27 (please declare by Friday, April 26 at 12:00 noon). The second of the CDP sessions will get underway at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 30 (please declare by Monday, April 29 at 12:00 noon).

A Standardbred Canada field rep will be on hand at the qualifiers in order to take care of any SC business that horsepeople need to address.

SC would like to remind all horsepeople that all memberships and eligibility fees need to be paid. Additionally, name changes need to be made before a horse ever qualifies. Coggins tests are required as set out in the rules in your racing jurisdiction.

Membership renewals and eligibility fees are two of many services that can be purchased online. To pay online, register with the SC website and sign into eShop by clicking the 'eShop' button at the top of the homepage.
