The Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario has announced that it has approved an application that will see all of the Hiawatha Horse Park’s first-race post times changed for the 2017 season.
Hiawatha’s cards had originally been scheduled to kick off with 7:00 p.m. first posts, but all of the cards will now kick off at 6:30 p.m.
Hiawatha is scheduled to host 21 race dates in 2017, and its meet will run from Saturday, May 6 to Saturday, September 23.
