On Friday, March 6, the Ontario Racing Commission released its ruling in regard to an appeal from Standardbred racehorse owner Keith Cassell.

Cassell was appealing the 90-day suspension of his horse, Plans Over, which had been in violation of Rules 11.10.01(4) and 20.01.01(i) 4) of the Rules of Standardbred Racing

The ORC panel that heard the appeal denied Cassell’s appeal, but it did vary the suspension to 45 days.
