Patrons will be in for a special treat on Monday evening at the Isle Casino Pompano Park, as Aaron Byron will join track announcer Gabe Prewitt for on-air analysis and colour commentary in between races.
Byron, currently third in the driver standings, has mounts in the first two races on the card and is expected to be on-air prior to the fourth race.
“We think our fans will enjoy a fresh and unique perspective from one of our top reinsmen, and are looking forward to Aaron joining the broadcast,” said Brett Revington, Director of Racing.
Monday night will be highlighted by the $15,000 Open Trot, featuring the likes of Natural Herbie, Wind Of The North, OHO Diamond, and Auspicious Hanover. The Open Trot is slated as the sixth race on the program, also the beginning of the Pick 4, which features a $7,500 guaranteed pool and a reduced takeout of only 12%.
Live racing continues at the Isle Casino Pompano Park on a four-night per week schedule, with a first post of 7:30 p.m. every Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday evening. The final Saturday night program of the season comes up on April 9th
