Hoosier Training Hours Adjusted

Horsemen should be advised that the track training hours at Hoosier Park Racing & Casino have been adjusted on Tuesday, March 26 due to inclement weather in the central Indiana region.

The track will be open from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 26 and resume normal training hours of 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 27.

The annual night-time dress rehearsal program is still slated for Wednesday, March 27 and will begin at 5:30 p.m. The evening round of qualifiers will allow horsemen, racing officials, and racing fans to watch qualifiers under the lights prior to the opening night program. Qualifiers will continue to follow a Wednesday and Saturday schedule throughout the remainder of the meet, with an estimated start time of 10:00 a.m. Horsemen are advised that the condition sheets for the opening week of live racing are posted on Hoosier Park’s website.

Live racing will kick off on Tuesday, April 2 and will conclude on Saturday, November 9. The 20th season of live standardbred racing will offer 160 days of action. Following a Tuesday through Saturday schedule, the daily first-race post time is 5:30 p.m. The $200,000 Dan Patch Invitational Pace, Hoosier Park’s signature standardbred event, will take place on Saturday, May 25.
