The Meadowlands' live racing week begins with a nine race card on Thursday, March 2. It is the penultimate Thursday program of the winter meet.

Making her second start of the season in the Thursday opener is Chat Snap. Unraced as a two-year-old, the sophomore daughter of Western Terror - Just A Glimpse debuted impressively last week for trainer co-owner Richard 'Nifty' Norman and driver Kyle Husted. With a :26.3 closer, Chat Snap won in 1:52.3 to make her the fastest three-year-old filly of 2017. She has the rail in the first race and is the 9-5 morning line choice.

Ten condition trotters will line up for the featured eighth race offering several class angles to consider while handicapping. Danish Durango has been racing himself into form while his gradual improvement paired with class relief have him in prime position for a win. A winner seven times last season, the fastest in 1:52, while earning just shy of $70,000 for trainer Kevin McDermott and owner Little E, LLC Danish Durango was a gritty second last week and draws a favourable post five in Thursday's race for top driver Jimmy Marohn, Jr.

The horizontal wager guarantees are in place and free program pages for the $40,000 guaranteed Late Pick 4 are available to get started in the selection process. First race post time is set for 7:15 p.m.
