Officials from Cal Expo have sent out a release that sheds light on some of the highlights that will be taking place this weekend at the California oval.
This week will find the trotters and pacers in action on Saturday and Sunday nights (February 7-8) at Cal Expo, with a $9,900 carryover in the Hi-5 on Saturday and a $35,000 guaranteed pool.
The Hi-5 is a 10-cent minimum wager and will be conducted on the 13th race.
Saturday's program is highlighted by the Shelly Goudreau Pace, while Sunday's feature is named for Jim Grundy.
