Cancellations have been announced for the live harness racing cards at Yonkers Raceway and Meadowlands Racetrack.
Yonkers Raceway has cancelled its live racing program (and evening simulcasting) for tonight (Saturday, Feb. 21), due to the impending snow/wintry mix anticipated for the greater New York area.
It is the seventh weather-related cancellation this season.
Saturday afternoon/early evening simulcasting is continuing until approximately 6:00 p.m., with live harness racing scheduled to resume Sunday (Feb. 22), with first post at 12:10 p.m.
Meadowlands Racetrack cancelled the remainder of its Saturday, Feb. 21 card of harness racing after the first race due to inclement weather and worsening track conditions.
Live racing is scheduled to resume at The Meadowlands on Thursday, Feb. 26. First race post time is 7:15 p.m.
