Yonkers Raceway has announced its 234-program live schedule for 2019.
Here are the highlights:
• there are four fewer programs than in 2018
• first racing program of 2019 is Monday, Jan. 7
• there are no Sunday matinees
• racing takes place every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening through May 25
• post time remains 6:50 p.m.
• there is a hiatus from May 26 through June 6
• five-night-per-week schedule returns Friday, June 7 through final day of season, Tuesday, Dec. 17
• there is no live racing Friday, Oct. 11, the day before the International Trot matinee (Saturday, Oct. 12, post time TBA)
• there is no live racing Thursday, Nov. 28 through Saturday, Nov. 30
