Horsepeople are being asked to double check their eligibility to the Pennsylvania Harness Horsemen's Association retirement plan.
Horsepeople that participate in the plan are urged to visit phha.org and click the ‘Check Membership Status’ link. If your name is not listed, the PHHA has not received your membership application for the 2017 racing season.
In order to remain eligible for retirement plan distributions, you must complete and submit a new membership application each and every year. The form is available for download or by visiting the PHHA offices. If returning the form via mail, applications must be postmarked no later than December 30, 2017.
However, members do not need to submit a new retirement plan application every year. That is a one-time application.
