It is with profound sadness the family of Audrey Elaine McKinley (nee Gill) of Clinton, Ont. announce her passing on Saturday, December 16 after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 89.
Beloved wife of Robert E. McKinley for 67 years. Devoted mother of Diane McKinley, Dr. John McKinley (Shelagh), Debbie McKinley (Cam ), Janet Joy (Peter), and Brenda McKinley. Loving grandmother to six and great grandmother to two. Dearest sister of Alma Westlake (Robert) and the late Rick Hendrick.
Audrey was a long time Standardbred racehorse owner, racing enthusiast and member of Standardbred Canada. She was a staunch supporter of Clinton Raceway for decades, enjoying the races there each summer weekend. Her joys included an expertise and talent in sewing and quilting and cooking large family dinners.
Visitation at Falconers Funeral Home, Clinton, Thursday, December 21, 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral at Brucefield Community United Church, Friday, December 22, 11:00 a.m. Visitation 10 - 11 a.m., followed by lunch.
