Racing judge and commission official Joseph Crugnale, 62, of McMurray, formerly of Rochester, New York, passed away on Sunday, November 23.
He is survived by Margaret Svitko. He was the loving father of Anthony Crugnale, Gabriella Crugnale, & Ashley Svitko; brother of Nancy (Cosimo) Palermo, Patricia (Giancarlo) Lusardi, & Barbara (Ralph) Fox. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Joe was very active in the community of Youth Amateur Ice Hockey with his children.
He was very proud to receive his 2nd Degree Black Belt in Karate. Joe was one of the judges at the Meadows and most recently chief investigator for the Ohio Racing Commission.
Funeral arrangements by Beinhauers. Friends and Family are welcome at 2828 Washington Rd., McMurray, 724-941-3211 on Tuesday 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m., where a funeral service will be held Tuesday at 8 p.m. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Dudley Cramer (put Crugnale in Memo) and mail to Dudley Cramer c/o Edward Jones, 169 W. Main St., Clairsville, OH 43950, to help his family.
