Harvey Bellwood Passes

Longtime owner Harvey Bellwood of Stayner, Ont. passed away suddenly on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at the age of 88.

Bellwood owned Standardbreds for decades, among those was pacer Bellwood Charms, a winner of 29 lifetime races through the 1970s.

Beloved husband of the late Fran. Loving father of Lou Bellwood and his wife Rhonda of Utopia. Dear grandpa of Kade and Jax Bellwood. Also survived by his sister Helen Hanna of Alliston and his brother-in-law Ralph (Norma) Hackett of Stayner and their families.

Friends will be received at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home – Stayner Chapel, 7313 Highway 26, Stayner (705-428-2637) on Saturday, November 22, 2014 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of Funeral Service in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Interment Stayner Union Cemetery.
