The Horse Peoples' Alliance of Ontario has announced that former Ontario Racing Commission Executive Director Steve Lehman has joined the organization as a non-executive consultant.
Lehman brings years of Ontario horse racing industry experience to the Horse Peoples' Alliance, having worked in the industry holding the positions of Chief Administrative Officer as well as Executive Director and CEO during his eight-year tenure with the Ontario Racing Commission.
"I am a passionate supporter of horse racing and believe the Horse Peoples' Alliance of Ontario can fill an important governance role within the Ontario racing industry," said Lehman. "I am proud to support this collaboration among the breeds and look forward to assisting the Horse People as they face the challenges ahead."
"Steve brings a wealth of industry knowledge to the [Horse Peoples'] Alliance. We are very proud to have his support, he has been known for years as a man of very high integrity," added Horse Peoples' Alliance founder Frank Roth.
