Retromedia Publishing has announced the launching of ‘Horse Power: Behind The Gate Returns’ by Paul Murphy at Red Shores Charlottetown.
The book launch will take place on Thursday, October 9 at 11 a.m. The media and the general public are invited to attend.
‘Horse Power,’ a sequel to the best seller ‘Behind the Gate,’ relays the love of horses and the enjoyment of grassroots harness racing in the Atlantic provinces through the experiences, stories and advice of horsepeople, past and present, who have made immeasurable contributions to the sport and industry they love.
Historically, the book (219 pages) begins in the 1880s and proceeds to 2014. It is about people, special places, events and horses. There are over 100 photographs.
