Purses at Yonkers Raceway will increase for the week beginning November 8, about seven weeks after Empire City Casino by MGM Resorts Yonkers Raceway reopened to patrons at reduced capacity.
The increase will be effective for all classes and, on average, represents an approximately 14 per cent bump from current levels.
The new purse structure will be as follows:
Yonkers Raceway features live harness racing Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights through December 22. First-race post time is at 7:12 p.m.
