Old-Fashioned Halloween Open House

Published: October 16, 2018 12:28 pm EDT

Bring the kids to the Harness Racing Museum & Hall of Fame, located at 240 Main Street, Goshen, NY on Saturday, October 27 from 11:00 am – 12:30 pm for a fun-filled old-fashioned Halloween celebration with a walk through the ‘spooky stable.’

Participate in creepy crafts, play hauntingly-fun games and enjoy sweet treats. Decorate a headless horseman, batty-witch or ghostly pumpkin to frighten off those Halloween spirits, create a flowing ghost decoration and make a bat-styled candy box filled with sweet treats!

Pumpkins are limited and are first come, first served, so don’t be late!

The spooky Halloween adventure will be topped off with a heart-pounding ride on the 3-D Harness Racing Simulator and refreshments for everyone.

The mascot, Hall of Fame Harry, will be in attendance to pose for pictures with young gargoyles, ghosts, witches, pirates, super heroes and such! Children are encouraged to come in costumes of all kinds! The first 40 children pay $5 and receive a pumpkin to decorate. Bring your own pumpkin and for $3 we’ll provide the fixins for some spooky pumpkin decorating. Parents are free. Reservations are not accepted.

Refreshments sponsored by ShopRite of Chester & Soons Orchard of New Hampton. Pumpkins provided by Soons Orchard & Manza Farms of Montgomery.
