Trot Insider has learned that both Yonkers Raceway and Monticello Raceway have abandoned their Tuesday (Jan. 26) harness racing programs as a result of winter weather in New York City and neighbouring counties.
Due to the wintry mix expected in the New York City metropolitan area and hazardous driving conditions for horse trailers shipping in and departing, racing has been cancelled at Yonkers Raceway for Tuesday (Jan. 26).
Because of the cancellation, the $2,516.76 carryover in the Pick-6 (races 3-8) will move to Wednesday night’s (Jan. 27) card.

Due to deteriorating track conditions, Monticello Raceway has cancelled live racing on Tuesday (Jan. 26).
