Larry Lacombe Passes

Trot Insider has learned that Standardbred racing participant Larry Lacombe, who was once the owner of the Manestreet Stable training centre in southwestern Ontario, passed away during the early-morning hours of Thursday, January 22 at the age of 75.

Lacombe, of Upper Cape, NB, passed away at the Sackville Memorial Hospital after a brief, valiant fight with cancer.

Larry, a well known and respected member of the industry, is survived by his wife, Cheryl; sons Chris and Patrick; sister, Elanor; nieces Amber, Raven and Morgan; and nephew, Armand.

The family wishes to give thanks to all that have offered their condolences. His son, Patrick, told Trot Insider that everyone who knew Larry knew what kind of man he was.
