The program of harness racing slated for Monday (January 2) at The Raceway at Western Fair District has been cancelled due to deteriorating track conditions.
Unseasonably warm and sunny weather in London, along with a forecast of rain later in the day, took its toll on the oval and prompted officials to make the decision.
Live racing is scheduled for tomorrow (Tuesday, Jan. 3) at The Raceway at 6:15 p.m. The mild temperatures are forecasted for tomorrow as well and a decision regarding the status of that program will be made Tuesday morning.
