Woodbine Entertainment has announced that tonight’s card (January 19) of live Standardbred racing at Woodbine Mohawk Park has been cancelled due to snow and extreme cold temperatures.
Live harness racing is scheduled to resume Monday evening (January 21) at Mohawk Park. Post time is 7:10 p.m.
At 1:20 p.m., Chad Gates, Assistant GM at Flamboro Downs told Trot Insider that Flamboro has no plans to cancel and will race on Saturday night.
Hmmmm, a 25 minute drive
Hmmmm, a 25 minute drive between the two of them and the radar shows Flammy taking much more snow than the 'hawk. Any reason to cancel they do it. 4 days a week racing! Any cancelled days should be made up the 2nd off night. In this case, this card should be raced Tuesday.
