Stall applications are now available for the upcoming 2015 live harness racing season at Hoosier Park Racing & Casino.
The downloadable form, which includes all pertinent information, can be found on Hoosier Park’s website.
Stall applications must be received by Hoosier Park Racing and Casino’s race office by no later than February 6, 2015. Applications for stall space are required for both stalls in the barn area, as well as horsemen wishing to ship in to race at Hoosier Park. Horsemen receiving stalls will be notified of their allotment by mid-February.
Building upon the successes of the 2014 live race meet, Hoosier Park’s 22nd season of live harness racing will kick off on March 27, 2015. Live racing at Hoosier Park Racing & Casino will follow a Friday, Saturday schedule the opening week, a Thursday, Friday, Saturday schedule the second week and then resume a Tuesday through Saturday schedule throughout the remainder of the meet. With a daily post time of 5:15 p.m. each night, the live racing season will be conducted through November 14, 2015.
Hoosier Park will solely host Indiana’s harness racing action and offer an extensive stakes schedule throughout the 2015 season. Hoosier Park’s signature event, the $300,000 est. Dan Patch, is slated for Friday, August 14.
Horsemen should also be advised that Hoosier Park will offer several new overnight series for the opening months of the racing calendar. More information will be provided by the race office as it becomes available. The minimum claiming price for the 2015 racing season will be $5,000.
