Katies Kiss extended her winning streak to three with a victory in the $35,000 New Jersey Sire Stakes-Green Acres for three-year-old trotting fillies this afternoon at Freehold Raceway.
Jeff Gregory was at the lines as the daughter of Muscles Yankee held the lead at every call and drew away to a three-length victory over the Banker Hall filly Bank On Rosie ($5.20, $5.00). Masai Mara ($7.80), who is by Muscles Yankee, was third by five lengths.
Katies Kiss ($2.20, $2.10, $2.10) now has five wins, four seconds and two thirds in 16 starts this year and has finished in-the-money in 15 of 27 career starts.
Daniel Kimmel trains the filly who has earned $82,386 lifetime for Kay Kimmel of Pine Grove, Pennsylvania. Katies Kiss was bred by Perretti Farms of Cream Ridge, New Jersey.
