The second heat of the Little Brown Jug has been drawn, and trainer George Teague, Jr. has scratched Badlands Nitro from the event.

Shadow Play, Lonestar Legend and Art Official were first heat winners. If any other horse wins the second heat, a race-off -- carded as Race 20 -- will be required.

Badlands Nitro, who was defeated in the first division of the first heat by Shadow Play, has been scratched from the second heat.

"Brian [driver Brian Sears] came off the racetrack and he was a little concerned," said Teague. "We ran the scope down, he had a fair amount of mucous and the vet recommended we take him out."

The field for the second heat, with post positions, drivers and and the morning line included, appears below.

1. Shadow Play (David Miller) - 2-1
2. Lonestar Legend (Dave Palone) - 4-1
3. Art Official (Ron Pierce) - 3-1
4. Badlands Nitro - JUDGES SCRATCH - 9-2
5. Santanna Blue Chip (Jody Jamieson) - 6-1
6. Rudy Rednose (Brian Sears) - 10-1
7. Mystery Chase (John Campbell) - 12-1
8. Goddesss Justin (Tim Tetrick) - 15-1
9. Giddy Up Lucky (Paul MacKenzie) - 15-1
