The ownership group of world champion Somebeachsomewhere, Schooner Stables of Bible Hill, N.S., has agreed to be guest speakers at the Atlantic Breeders Crown banquet Saturday, October 11 at the Delta Prince Edward Hotel.
Tickets are $35 dollars and are on sale by calling Harness Racing PEI office at 1.902.629.6636. The evening features a reception at 7:00 p.m. and dinner at 7:30. Harness Racing families from the Atlantic region will also be honoured during the gala event.
The six-member ownership syndicate will discuss their incredible ride with the three-old-son of Mach Three, talk about future plans and take questions from the audience.
Somebeachsomewhere picked up his 11th win in 12 starts with a commanding victory at The Red Mile in Lexington, Kentucky over the weekend. Regular pilot Paul MacDonell guided Somebeachsomewhere to his second fastest win of 1:47.4. The colt equaled the world record of 1:46.4 the week previous.
"Beach" left Sunday en route to Ontario where he will train for the Messenger Stakes in New York.
