Driver Ryan Anderson was taken to Loyola Medical Center in Maywood, Illinois after he was thrown from his bike in an accident that occurred during Sunday's ninth race at Hawthorne Racecourse.
Hawthorne said via a release that the driver appears to have suffered a broken arm. He also incurred a cut on his forehead, but he was conscious.
Michael Oosting and Tyler Buter were also involved in the incident but neither were badly injured and both drove in the following race.
