After receiving a two-hole trip for the duration of her mile, Pippiwhitestockingspopped out and went on to post a sound victory in a life's best 1:56.3 in the second Buckette division Wednesday afternoon for trainer Harald Lunde and driver Jody Jamieson.

I Gotta Fellin and pilot Ron Pierce provided all the speed, going to the lead from the outset and
recording the fractions in :28.1, :59 and 1:27.3. Pierce and his mount hung on for second and post time favourite Classical Mary (Dave Palone) finished up third.

Owned by Natan Schlachet of Sweden and Kjell Magne Andersen of Norway, Pippiwhitestockngs tallied her fourth career victory with the win - her first this campaign from what was her ninth start.

The filly was making just her third start for Lunde, who took over the training duties from Carl
Gillespie after the filly broke stride in the Hambletonian Oaks at the Meadowlands on August 4.
