Kawartha Downs has released updated standings for the weekly Classic Pacing Series, which culminates with a $50,000 final later this fall.
Horses receive points each time they compete in the series. The points rewarded are listed below.
Finish - Points
1st - 6 points
2nd - 5 points
3rd - 4 points
4th - 3 points
5th - 2 points
6th through 9th - 1 point
The series got underway on January 8, 2008 and goes through until October 14. The top 9 point-earning horses will be eligible for the $50,000 final on October 25.
