The participants involved in the Mildred Williams Driving Series have had a very busy schedule in recent weeks, and they'll wrap up the long weekend by making a stop at Fredericton Raceway this afternoon.

The series made a stop at Inverness Raceway on Sunday afternoon, with Carole Dumont taking home top honours in the lone division. The resident of Trois Rivieres, QC guided Happy Swinger to a gate-to-wire score in a time of 2:07 for owner/trainer Robert Mac Leod of South Western Margaree, NS.

Bloodstocks Queen (Tammy Mac Kay) was second best and AGs Legend (Ann Curran) rounded out the top three.

Following yesterday's driving duties, the participants visited Clare Macdonald, who was released from the hospital on Saturday evening after being seriously injured in a recent racing accident.

Clare was eager to visit fellow drivers Ambyr Mac Phee, Tammy Mac Kay, Colleen Chappell, Carole Dumont, Stacy Chiodo and Ann Curran.
