In a post uploaded to his NTRA blog yesterday, National Thoroughbred Racing Association president and CEO Alex Waldrop stated that some changes will be coming to his organization next week.
"On October 15, the NTRA will start down the track of becoming more like a central authority found in other countries," Waldrop wrote. "All stakeholders including fans will be invited to join the NTRA in the formation of a unique public/private partnership that will become a governance model like no other in the racing world. I hope you will jump on board."
