A pair of rich NYSS divisions took place Tuesday afternoon at Monticello Raceway, and Goosebump Hanover’s performance earned her a share of the track record for three-year-old trotting fillies.

In rein to Jim Morrill, Jr, Goosebump Hanover got away second from Post 6 before muscling her way to the lead on the way to the half. She cruised past the mid-way point in :58 before hitting the three-quarter pole in 1:27. A :29.1 closing quarter was more than enough to earn her the win over Straight A Student in 1:56.1. Swinging Royalty took home third prize.

Ron Burke trains the daughter of RC Royalty-Good Common Cents for Burke Racing Stable LLC, J And T Silva Stables LLC, Crawford Farms Racing and Joseph Di Scala Jr. The win improved her 2016 record to 3-2-3 from 12 starts and the lion’s share of the $61,300 purse lifted the seven-time winner’s overall bankroll to $247,198.

Earn Your Wings rallied from just off the speed to capture her $61,300 division in 1:57 for driver Jason Bartlett. She was parked and pressing the tempo at the quarter pole in :29.1, but she eventually cleared before coming under attack from Fad Finance at the half in :58.2. That foe took over the top spot and sped the field to the three-quarter marker in 1:28. Earn Your Wings fired home in :28.4 to overtake Fad Finance and beat that rival by a one-length margin. Sweet Ashley T was a well-beaten third.

Anette Lorentzon trains the daughter of Credit Winner-Southwind Serena for SRF Stable of Delray Beach, FL. It was the fourth score of the season – and the fifth to date – for the career winner of $185,748.
