The table has been set for Ohio Super Night, the richest night in the history of Ohio’s Standardbred racing industry.

On Saturday (September 27) Scioto Downs will offer a 16-race program that will boast purses in excess of $2 million. The action-packed race card will feature the best Ohio-bred juveniles and sophomores and some of racing's biggest stars.

In addition to the attractive Ohio-bred races, the $200,000 Jim Ewart Memorial Invitational Pace has gathered a strong field of eight. The talented group includes Foiled Again, harness racing’s richest horse. The 10-year-old phenomenon will start from Post 1 and his stablemate, Sweet Lou, has drawn Post 4. The field also features an Adios winner, Bolt The Duer, track record holder, Kanaris, Indiana Sires Stakes champion, Night Pro and consistent east-coast free for all pacers Domethatagain and Bigtown Hero.

The stakes program will kick off with the eight divisions of the $200,000 Ohio Sires Stakes Championships.

Three-year-old trotter Rompaway Galaxy will look to defend his title in Race 4. Driver Mike Micallef will steer from Post 8 for trainer Krista Harmon.

Two-year-old pacing filly Bell Flower will look to make it a clean sweep of the Ohio Sires Stakes in Race 5. The daughter of Fly Fly Buckeye and Our Lady Countess will start from Post 7 for trainer Jim Arledge Jr. and driver Chris Page.

The red-hot Neelys Messenger (Post 5) will look to taste victory once again for trainer/driver Marty Wollam in Race 8.

Race 12 on the card is the $75,000 Sam ‘Chip’ Noble III Memorial Trot. The full field of 10 includes last season’s Kentucky Futurity winner, Creatine, world record holder Victory Is Coming, and millionaire Uncle Peter.

The stellar card also has the $50,000 Ryder ‘Storm Boy’ Steck Open Pace, which drew a field of eight. A field of nine was assembled for the $50,000 El Dorado Resort Filly and Mare Open Pace.

First-race post time will be 6:30 p.m., but be sure to come early for the driver autograph session which will begin at 5:30 p.m. in the grandstand breezeway.
