Focus Groups On Big M Racing

Meadowlands Racing & Entertainment, along with its partners at Source Communications, a leading full-service marketing agency based in Hackensack, NJ, is conducting a series of focus groups aimed at gaining valuable insights into better serving its existing customers and receiving feedback and suggestions on ways to attract new ones.

The series of focus groups are highly targeted and segmented, allowing accurate feedback and research to be acquired. The groups are broken down by age group and frequency of visits to the Meadowlands.

“What better way to uncover the best approaches to increase visits to Meadowlands Racing and Entertainment and earn guest loyalty than to speak directly with consumers,” said Larry Rothstein, president and managing partner at Source. “These focus groups provide invaluable feedback from the guest perspective as well as helps us understand how to attract and engage new visitors to MRE.”

“I always tell our employees that our customers vote with their feet and first-class customer service is the cornerstone of every successful business,” said Jason M. Settlemoir, GM and COO of Meadowlands Racing & Entertainment. “While we always invite our customers to share their comments and concerns with us on a regular basis, we thought it was important to put together a more formal, scientific study with these focus groups.”

The information gathered from the focus groups will be used to better serve customers through promotions and events, advertising, and wagering.
