Tuesday night's card at Mohawk Racetrack featured a parade of upsets with only one favourite coming through, and that one at the narrowest of margins.
In the night's first race Holiday Promise ($3.20) delivered on the pari-mutuel promise made to her backers with a maiden-breaking 1:57.4 score for driver Trevor Henry. She held on by a head over stablemate and 30-1 longshot Lady Grey.

For the next ten races, favourites faltered. The most shocking of those upsets came in the seventh race when Moonlight Cocktail lit up the toteboard with a 58-1 stunner from Post 10.
