Americanprimetime held off eight rivals to take the $15,000 featured pace at the Meadowlands Racetrack on Saturday, September 9 in 1:49.4.

Trainer and driver Rick Dane, Jr. put the son of American Ideal on the front while setting fractions of :27, :54.2 and 1:21.4. The 2-1 second-wagering choice did not face much pressure until the field turned into the stretch.

With longshots Go Big Spinder, Chevals Clivesdale and Change Stride fanned across the track in pursuit, Dane and Americanprimetime held on in a photo to post the win. The top four finishers were separated by two noses and a neck on the wire.

Americanprimetime, a five-year-old homebred from The Rock & Roll Stable, scored the 18th win of his career, and has now earned $453,419.

Total handle on the 11-race program was $1,731,348.

The September Meet wraps up next Friday and Saturday, September 15 and 16. Post time both nights is 7:15pm.
