The purse increase comes after a generous donation of $4,000 came from the exhibition association.
Horse Racing New Brunswick will be adding to the existing purse amounts for the overnight races, and officials with the organization have said that $1,300 is the minimum purse amount that they expect on the program.
Horse Racing New Brunswick would like to thank the exhibition association for its continued support.
