Horseman Danny Romo had a dead-heat double on Saturday night with his trainees Oakmont and Dreams Matter sharing their victories in the top classes at Truro Raceway.
Dreams Matter crossed the wire with St Lads Dagwood and Dale Spence in a dead heat for the 1:58.1 win in the $1,100 ninth race sub-feature. Two races later in the $1,275 Winners Over, Oakmont and the Ryan Ellis-driven Camstock Lode could not be separated in a photo finish, resulting in the second dead heat of the day in a 1:56 mile.
