Officials from Georgian Downs have informed Trot Insider of some of the details surrounding the track’s big card of live racing this Saturday (August 27), which will feature the $100,000 Honourable Earl Rowe Memorial Trot and an Ontario Sires Stakes Gold leg for three-year-old male trotters.

The Earl Rowe Memorial, which is Georgian Downs’ signature race, will highlight the Saturday card. First-race post time on the program is 7:15 p.m. The entry box for the Saturday card is scheduled to close on Wednesday, August 24 at 10.00 a.m.

Georgian officials have told Trot Insider that the connections of Fearless Man (who has more than $516,000 in career earnings) and Muscle Up The Goal (who has earned more than $120K this year) have committed to Saturday’s tilt.

The I Love Canadian Harness Racing Fan Club will be in attendance, as will representatives from Habitat for Humanity, who will be conducting their popular 50/50 draw.

Also, fans will have the opportunity to ride in a sulky with the fan club’s ever popular Wanna Drive program.

The track will also be selling soda and hot dogs for $1 each (while supplies last).

Additionally, horsepeople should note that there will not be a qualifying session at Georgian Downs on Saturday, August 27, but the track will be open for training.
