Kawartha Downs’ second of three elevated purse nights this season will go postward Saturday night.
A total of 12 races will be presented, including a $10,000 Preferred Pace as race 12.
In addition, Kawartha will host Family Fun Night, with lots of fun activities for youngsters. A bouncy castle will be on site along with balloon artists, a face painter, and an arts and crafts area where kids can create their own driving colours. Free popcorn, drinks and loot bags will be distributed and family oriented prizes will also be given away.
The fun begins at 6:30 p.m., with first race post time at 7 p.m.
Kawartha Downs offers live racing every Saturday night (with the exception of September 20) until October 25. A free race program is available for download on the Kawartha Downs' website (www.kawarthadowns.com). For those unable to attend the races, live streaming is also available online.
